Designed by the famous marine architect, Merritt Walter and built in Old Town, Florida, in 2000, Suncoast Horizon is a working replica of the schooners of old with the modern comforts of today.
Along with her large aft seating area, wide decks, cushioned seating, and household style restroom, you and your guests will enjoy the optimal comfort while sailing aboard.
Your voyage will depart from our dock, right in the heart of Treasure Island and continue north to historic John’s Pass and continue on to the Gulf of Mexico.
Charter rates begin around $1500 for 2 1/2 hours and details can be tailored to meet your every need.
If you are looking for something more intimate, Suncoast Escapade, is also available for your special occasion for 2-6 hours for up to 10 passengers. She is perfect for intimate outings, bachelor & bachelorette parties, birthdays, anniversaries, and engagements! We will happily work with you to make your moment perfect. Escapade is a Whitby 42 Center Cockpit Ketch. She was designed by Ted Brewer and built in 1976 by Whitby Boat Works in Whitby, Ontario, Canada to be a world cruiser. “2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a fireplace!” made her Cruising World Magazine’s “Bluewater Boat of the Year” for 10 years in a row while in production. She carries a special MARAD approval from the US Department of Transportation to serve as foreign built commercial passenger vessel and is endorsed for Coastwise Trade in the United States.
